This random stone interior project was the mastermind of the architectural firm who designs the Golfsmith retail store locations. The original design included all the heavy areas to be a self adhesive tile. Due to the moisture in the substrate, typical adhesive flooring was de-laminating. After a core test to determine that they had water leeching up through the base of the concrete slab, they decided to contact us for a solution. We applied an active crystal growing base-coat that would stop the water from permeating up through into the store aisles. Once dried, we used our polymer cement resurfacing to create a waterproof bond as well as a pleasing and durable top coat in order to stand up to the wear and tear of commercial foot and cart traffic.
